Fortune Names TeamHealth Among “The World’s Most Admired Companies”

Press Release

TeamHealth Holdings Inc. was named among “The World’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune Magazine. TeamHealth ranked No. 2 among the “Healthcare: Pharmacy and Other Services” category. “It is an honor to be named among ‘The World’s Most Admired Companies’ by Fortune,” said Michael D. Snow, president and CEO of TeamHealth. “This distinction underscores our long-standing reputation for delivering quality, efficiency and exceptional patient care and is a direct reflection of our outstanding clinical and administrative teams. We are particularly proud that TeamHealth was recognized for traits such as ‘quality of products and services’ and ‘long-term investment value’ by industry peers who participated in the ranking.” Each year, Fortune works with Hay Group, a global management consulting firm, to identify the World’s Most Admired Companies. To develop the ranking, Hay Group asked executives, directors and analysts to rate companies in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value to social responsibility. A company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry survey to be listed. Approximately 668 companies from 29 countries around the world were surveyed by over 4,000 participants to create the 2015 list.
