Want to practice inpatient medicine from the comfort of your own home? If so, TeamHealth has a great telemedicine opportunity for a full-time, board certified internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) clinician with a North Carolina medical license to provide remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System in western North Carolina. The working hours are 7pm-7am. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years hospitalist experience.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
Entering admission orders
Prescribing medications
Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's EMR
Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians on site
