We’ve had some incredible stories this year, and wanted to share some of our 2018 submissions.

Stacey Weeks – Huntsville, AL (D&Y)  – Travel

“My position with TeamHealth helps me to care for my family. The photo is me, my sister, my mom and my grandmother who will be 102 years old in November. Being able to contribute financially and emotionally to the care of my mom and grandmother are just two of the many benefits that working with D&Y provide. Seeing the caregiving industry from both sides reinforces how important the jobs we do with TeamHealth & D&Y are. Our doctors are caring for someone’s mother, sister, grandmother or other family members each time they see a patient or service a hospital. This helps put a real “face” on the services we provide. Working here is a blessing and I look forward to many years to come.”

Kortnie Elkins – Knoxville, TN – TeamHealth Institute

“My team has become another family for me. When you can come to the office and enjoy what you do and feel accomplished and appreciated, it does not feel like work at all. My team was there for me last year during the loss of my mother and supported me in countless ways – immeasurable amounts of support, condolences, and flowers for her memorial just to name a few. We all want to feel confident and competent in our work, but when you have a team and management behind you that does so much more than that, it creates a sense of self-assurance. It feels amazing to be in such a supportive department and to know that your hard work is appreciated and noticed. I feel so blessed to be a part of an incredible environment.”

Christina Tiberio – Tampa, FL – After Hours Pediatrics

“While working for a big corporation can make you feel like you’re just an employee number, being a part of TeamHealth’s After Hours Pediatrics has always felt more like a family. The company always puts the best interest of its employees, their families and the community we serve first. A prime example would be during hurricane season the company put the safety of the staff and their families first. We all pulled together after the storm passed to reopen the clinics so that we could be there for our community. There is no greater feeling than knowing you are valued by your employer.”

Cody Jeffries – Louisville, TN – HM Coding

“What I love most about working for TeamHealth is the opportunity it gives me to spend more time with my son and family by working at home and to have the chance to see his big moments in life!”

Tracy Stevenson – Myrtle Beach, SC – Hospital Medicine

“What I love the most about TeamHealth would be the people. We truly work together as a TEAM but treat each other like family! Everyone is supportive of one another and together we can achieve great things! We love TeamHealth!”
