We just wrapped up our Share Happiness contest and want to thank all the physicians and advanced practice clinicians who shared great stories of what brings them joy! All physicians and APCs were eligible to participate by sharing a picture and story of how they like to share happiness. From volunteering at a food bank to donating medical services on a mission trip to pro bono surgeries to children in need – to time spenting with family and and overcoming their own personal illness while continuing to provide care to others.
The TeamHealth Share Happiness social media contest ran on our Facebook page through October 31, 2017, and by sharing their pictures and stories providers were entered to win big prizes from Apple, Warby Parker, Target and Amazon. We are proud of every provider in our TeamHealth family and the Share Happiness social media contest is one of the ways we can show them support them both personally and professionally.
The grand prize winner of the 2017 #THShareHappiness contest is Cristy, O’Connell! Christy received at $500 Apple gift card for her entry!
Last Mother’s Day, May 2016 I got to spend with my mom before she passed away from pancreatic cancer. Happy I was able to go to Holland to the tulip festival she wanted to go to that day.

Happiness is being the provider a few days a month, instead of the ovarian cancer patient. I love the days I get to forget about my illness for 10 hours and focus on others. It brings me so much happiness to work for a company who supports me in every way!
