Black Maternal Health Week, occurring April 11 – 17, offers an opportunity to celebrate the significant strides made in healthcare while also acknowledging the persistent challenges for Black mothers. In recognition of this week, TeamHealth OB/GYN clinicians discuss factors that contribute to increased pregnancy-related complications and maternal mortality for Black women.
