With more than 35 years of healthcare experience, George offers valuable skills to his role as president of TeamHealth Affiliated Clinical Services which includes serving as president of Spectrum Healthcare Resources, and responsibility of D&Y and AccessNurse. He leads all aspects of these group’s business, including:
- financial solvency
- physician, provider and healthcare professional relations
- revenue generation
- organizational development
- strategic direction
George is responsible for the business units of the Affiliated Clinical Services service lines. As the president of Spectrum Healthcare Resources, he is responsible for the operations of the government healthcare services division of TeamHealth, which focuses on offering healthcare program management and healthcare staffing support services for military, Veterans Affairs and other federal healthcare facilities and health systems. The other two business units George is responsible for guiding include D&Y, the TeamHealth Locums Tenens service line, and AccessNurse, the 24/7 medical call center service line of TeamHealth, in strategic direction, overall performance and growth strategy.
George joined TeamHealth in 1985 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his roles. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Whitman School of Management of Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York.
