About the Role
- Inpatient behavioral health facility with 127 beds
- Provide consultative general medical care to children, adolescents, and adults admitted for psychiatric care
- Schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off
- 8-hour shifts
- Performing a medical history and physical from the patient; prescribe medications and treatments for illnesses in accordance with state regulations
- Perform medical assessment of clients/patients of the facility; complete documentation in the medical record accurately and timely recording all care rendered
- Complete medical discharge summary timely and within facility policy
- Coordinate patient care activities through ongoing consultation with the facility leadership team, such as clinical director, nursing director and medical director
- Promote compliance with all industry, Medicare and federal or state licensing standards which relate to the clinical management of patients admitted to the facility
Compensation
Compensation is fee For service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $130,000 to $130,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefits eligible.
Qualifications
- Master's degree as a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP)
- Licensed in state with DEA
