TeamHealth Colleagues Give More Than $40,000 for Team Rubicon’s Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts

By Leif Murphy, President and CEO, TeamHealth

I want to express my gratitude for your response to our partnership with Team Rubicon. In three weeks, our team raised more than $20,000 for Team Rubicon to support their Hurricane Dorian recovery operations in the Bahamas, exceeding our initial goal of $15,000.

With TeamHealth’s commitment to match every dollar raised by our team, our total support for Team Rubicon totals more than $40,000.

TeamHealth’s investment helps to ensure that following disaster, Team Rubicon’s veteran-led volunteer teams provide timely and effective relief to communities, regardless of disaster size or media coverage. Currently, Team Rubicon’s recon team is in the Bahamas identifying unmet needs, primarily in communities hit hardest by the storm, with more than 80 volunteers in Abaco and Grand Bahama. Team Rubicon is doing everything within their resources to help the Bahamas stabilize, recover and begin rebuilding, first focusing on urgent medical needs before they engage in a long-term recovery effort to assist communities in need.

Thank you for stepping up to support Team Rubicon.

Sincerely,

Leif Murphy
