LiveWell Resources for Living is Here to Help You Navigate COVID-19

By Megan Norman, TeamHealth Wellness Manager

With COVID-19 in the news every day, it is only natural to have some anxiety. Constant reminders of stress can negatively affect our emotional well-being. Be kind to yourself and acknowledge your fears. It may be helpful to remember other obstacles you have overcome, how you coped and what you learned. Reminding yourself of your resilience in the past can help you remain optimistic in the present. It is healthy to accept help from your loved ones and other resources.

Try to maintain your overall well-being to ease your stress. Eat healthfully, get enough rest and exercise, relax and stay in contact with family and friends. If you need more support, talk with someone about your feelings and seek help from a counselor who can help you process your emotions and identify coping strategies. Limit the time you spend watching media coverage about COVID-19. Learn from reliable resources such as TeamHealth, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

TeamHealth is here to help you navigate COVID-19 professionally and personally. TeamHealth offers LiveWell Resources for Living to assist you with your personal response to this pandemic.

TeamHealth is committed to supporting our clinicians and administrative employees, now and always. We care about you, your well-being and your career. Please help us by sharing LiveWell Resources for Living with those you are concerned about, encourage them to get help and take advantage of these resources.
