“Just a few short weeks after Dr. Raymond Sessions joined our D&Y team in Gainesville, Florida, he agreed to go to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens (NYPQ) to help amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We began sourcing him on April 2 and through an amazing team effort, along with Dr. Sessions’ willingness to immediately relocate, he was screened and approved in time to start his first shift at NYPQ the morning of April 6. That morning, Dr. Sessions shared his thoughts with the team, “I can’t tell you how much I needed this, thanks for what you did to get me here.”
He stepped into the front line of a hot spot to help and he is thanking us. That’s the TeamHealth spirit through and through.
Additionally, Dr. Sessions has been reaching out to other doctors to see if they can assist in New York as well, two of whom are being screened to deploy through D&Y.
We thank Dr. Sessions for truly going above and beyond the call of duty and for his selfless work combating COVID-19.”
