MUSC Health is seeking board-certified/board-eligible emergency medicine physicians to join the team at MUSC Health Florence Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Florence, South Carolina. Opening in November 2026, this innovative facility reflects MUSC Health’s commitment to expanding convenient, high-quality care across South Carolina. This location will bring together 24/7 EM and urgent care services under one roof, creating a unique practice environment that improves access to care while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Approximately 22,000 anticipated annual patient visits
• 12-hour physician shifts

• Onsite diagnostic capabilities, including CT, ultrasound, X-ray and full laboratory services

Who We’re Looking For

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or board-eligible in EM
• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure and DEA registration
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
