TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled emergency medicine physician to join a high-performing team at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department while working alongside experienced clinicians and support staff. You will also have the opportunity to work shifts at the system’s local, affiliated freestanding EDs.

Facility

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is a full-service, acute-care hospital with 317 inpatient beds located in the heart of Orange Park, providing medical care to Clay County and surrounding communities. The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 intensive care unit (ICU) beds. This emergency department (ED) provides 52 treatment bays with four rooms that can quickly be converted in order to accommodate psychiatric patients. The ED treats approximately 65,000 patients per year which includes the adult ED, pediatric ED, and Express Care. The length of stay is below the national average. In addition to two state-of-the-art Interventional Cardiovascular Catheterization labs, this facility has a full complement of ancillary services including 64-slice CT scan, on-site laboratory, decontamination tent, and air medical services transport are available.
