Emergency Medicine Medical Director In Bellevue, OH

Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to serve as medical director at The Bellevue Hospital in Bellevue, Ohio. This is a unique opportunity to lead a collaborative emergency department team while continuing clinical practice.

This independent contractor position offers a competitive hourly rate, a separate administrative stipend for medical director responsibilities, and potential bonus opportunities.  Current ABEM/AOBEM certification and prior leadership experience are preferred for this role.

The Bellevue Hospital

• Annual ED Volume: 14,000
• ED beds: 11
• Acuity: Medium, 12% admission rate
• Coverage: 24 hours, plus 9 hours of APC coverage
• Shifts: 12 hours
• Employee: Independent Contractor (1099)
• EMR: MEDITECH Expanse with Dragon and Cleo
