Are you a physician looking for a daytime role in the Scranton area? If so, TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity available for a hospitalist at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a hospitalist medicine (HM) practice at a new hospital that opened in the spring of 2022.

Opportunity Details

• 40-bed hospital
• Block schedule
• Daytime position
• 15-18 patient encounters per day
• 2 daytime hospitalists per shift
• APC support Monday through Friday
• No procedures
• 4-bed low level ICU with AICU support
• Must be board certified in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)

Facility

Opened in May 2022 and a part of the Lehigh Valley Health Network. This 100,000 square foot state of the art hospital has an extensive range of patient care and diagnostic testing. The hospital is surgical specialty focused with seven operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 24 private inpatient rooms. Located in Lackawanna County, this community has access to premier emergency care, with a 19-bay emergency room and a helipad for times when higher level of care is needed.
