TeamHealth and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center are seeking a full-time advanced practice clinician to join our diabetes clinic, working closely with a board-certified physician specialist in a collaborative academic public hospital environment.
This role is ideal for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner who is passionate about diabetes care and patient education. The position is approximately 70% direct clinical care and 30% diabetes education and teaching, allowing for meaningful, longitudinal patient relationships and a strong impact on patient outcomes. The APC will be fully supervised at all times by a board-certified specialist, with strong clinical support and mentorship in a team-based academic setting.

Competitive compensation with estimated base salary range of $156,000 to $197,600 annually.

For 25 years, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has served as the pillar for exceptional patient care for the residents of San Bernardino County in southern California. ARMC is a university-affiliated teaching facility with 10 residency programs and 5 fellowships and is the primary teaching hospital for the California University of Science and Medicine, School of Medicine, located adjacent to the hospital's 70-acre campus. ARMC operates a Level 1 trauma center, a Regional Burn Center, a behavioral health center, five primary care centers, and offers over 40 outpatient specialty-care services. The hospital serves as a comprehensive stroke center and is one of the region's busiest Level 1 trauma centers. In July 2024, the facility earned three awards from the American Heart Association's "Get with the Guidelines" program in recognition of its achievement in treating type 2 diabetes and stroke.
