TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency medicine team at the largest emergency department in San Joaquin County, St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California. Stockton is located in the Central Valley less than an hour south of Sacramento and within a commutable distance to Napa, San Francisco, and Modesto. Stockton offers a variety of activities, including wineries, breweries, art classes, museums, and much more!

About St. Joseph’s Medical Center’s Emergency Department

• Annual patient volume of 110,000
• 64-bed ED
• EMR: Cerner
• 77 hours of physician coverage
• 48 hours of APC coverage

Position Requirements

• Boarded through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• We ask that you have a minimum of 2 years of EM experience to apply
• Current ACLS, and PALS certifications
• California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date

Pay Structure

• W2 employee status
• Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $100 to $105 per hour
