Build your pediatric emergency medicine career in a highly regarded, community-focused hospital in southern New Jersey. TeamHealth is seeking pediatricians with EM experience to join the pediatric emergency department at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, part of Jefferson Health.

Located in Turnersville, New Jersey, this opportunity offers a short commute to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, combining suburban living with easy access to a major metropolitan area.

Our collaborative team of PEM physicians and pediatricians provide expert care in a state-of-the-art ED. We welcome board-certified or board-eligible pediatricians with EM experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available.

Opportunity Overview

• Board certified/board eligible(ABP/AOBP) Pediatricians with EM experience preferred
• EMR: Epic
• Annual volume: 6,000 for pediatric ED
• 24 hours pediatric emergency physician coverage per day (12-hour shifts)
• Adult EM physicians to assist, as needed, with advanced airway and critical care
• Must be comfortable working with ages birth up to 18
• 4 pediatric ED beds with ED observation capability
• NICU staffed with 24-hour, in-house neonatology, no delivery room responsibilities
• CHOP, Nemours, St. Christopher’s Hospital, and Cooper Hospital pediatric specialists for consults and transfers
• Medical students and PA students rotate through pediatric ED along with family medicine, orthopedic, and podiatry residents from Jefferson Health Teaching affiliate with Rowan University

Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $165 to $185 hourly. Comprehensive benefits package for full-time physicians, including: medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, 401(k), and retirement plan.
