As the facility medical director for Cascade Valley Hospital, you’ll guide an established EM team, shape clinical operations, and drive high-quality patient care in a collaborative, community-focused environment. Located an hour north of Seattle, Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, Washington, offers a quieter, more rural lifestyle with a strong schooling system; while offering both urban amenities and outdoor recreation.

Cascade Valley Hospital is a Level IV community-based hospital with 29 total beds, and 16 ED beds. We are averaging 37 hours of physician coverage daily that oversees an annual volume of 27,000 visits per year with a 7% admit rate. Our dedicated team deals with a medium acuity level, while seeing an average of 2.2 patients per hour. During all shifts our physicians do respond to floor codes and have a wide ranging specialty support team available. Cascade Valley uses EPIC EMR and AI EPIC Scribe.

Facility

Cascade Valley Hospital opened in 1901 to serve the greater Arlington community. The hospital underwent a significant renovation and expansion and is now licensed for 48 beds. Patients are served by highly trained clinical nursing teams and board-certified hospitalists. Cascade Valley Hospital provides a multidisciplinary approach, with clinical specialists and support services available to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to every patient. Cascade Valley Hospital provides acute care, critical care, general surgery, a level IV Emergency Department and a Family Birth Center. The facility also offers a number of support services such as an in-house laboratory, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging and more.
