Emergency Department Overview
Annual patient volume: 48,000
30 emergency department beds
9–10 hour shifts with APC coverage
24/7 access to X-ray, ultrasound, CT, full lab services, and respiratory therapists
EMR system: EPIC
Position Details
Employment types: PRN, part-time, or full-time
Candidates must be board certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM), or board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with recent emergency medicine experience
Active ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
Completion of an accredited residency program is required

UF Health Leesburg Hospital, formerly known as Leesburg Regional Medical Center and acquired by
University of Florida Health in January 2020, has been serving the health care needs of the Leesburg
community for more than 60 years. Specialties at the hospital include: oncology, cardiac care, inpatient
