Are you seeking free standing emergency department (FSED) opportunities in Central Florida? TeamHealth is proud to partner with UF Health to staff a free standing emergency department in The Villages, Florida. 

UF Health Brownwood FSED is a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art trauma bays, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology including CT and X-ray, and laboratory and respiratory therapy services. The emergency department offers quality care from seasoned healthcare experts 24 hours a day.

Location

• UF Health Brownwood FSED: 24,000 annual visits

Department Information

• 24/7 emergency care with X-ray, ultrasound, full lab, respiratory therapist, and CT available
• EMR: EPIC
• 28 beds including 2 trauma bays 
• 12-hour shifts 
• APC coverage

What We’re Looking For

• PRN/part-time/full-time
• Board certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with current emergency medicine experience and valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Completion of an accredited residency program is required
