TeamHealth is excited to celebrate the opening of Seminole County’s newest hospital, AdventHealth Sanford Freestanding Emergency Department (ED). AdventHealth Sanford is set to welcome patients this coming September 2025 and will be approximately 13,300 square feet providing 24-hour enhanced emergency care services for the historic city of Sanford, Florida.

This freestanding ED will further expand the robust AdventHealth network of connected health care in Central Florida. AdventHealth Orlando has been named the number 1 hospital in Greater Orlando by U.S. News & World Report for 14 years in a row.

We are building a collaborative team of highly skilled and compassionate board-certified or board-prepared emergency medicine (EM) physicians to continue our mission of uplifting our patients in body, mind and spirit

Facility Highlights:

• 12 private patient care beds
• Onsite services: CT, X-Ray, ultrasound, laboratory, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy
• Company paid for Scribes
• EMR: EPIC
• Fully integrated with AdventHealth Orlando, Central Florida’s tertiary care referral hospital
• Patients needing to be admitted are transported within our AdventHealth Central Florida hospital system with seamless care via our one call transfer service known as “Mission Control”
