• Annual volume: 54,000
• Medium to high acuity
• TeamHealth also manages the HM and ICU departments, ensuring good integration
• 40 ED beds
• Admission rate: 12-15%
• New ED leadership

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the facility medical director in overseeing the clinical operations of the emergency department
• Collaborate with hospital administration to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
• Mentor and support emergency department staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Assist in scheduling and other administrative duties as needed
