Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician In Camden, NJ

Virtua Health is seeking a full-time advanced practice clinician to join our dynamic team at the Virtua Health & Wellness Center in Camden, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to improving community health outcomes. The APC will deliver comprehensive primary and/or specialty care services, promote preventive health, and support Virtua’s mission to help people be well, get well, and stay well.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Order, interpret, and utilize diagnostic tests appropriately
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with New Jersey regulations
• Provide patient education, counseling, and preventive health services
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health efforts

 Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
• Current New Jersey licensure as an NP or PA
• Board certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, or equivalent)
• DEA certification (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates may be considered depending on specialty)
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Competitive Compensation, with an estimated base salary of $70 to $85 hourly. Located just outside Philadelphia, we treat approximately 37,000 patients per year in this 15-bed satellite emergency department.
