Job Description

TeamHealth is currently seeking anesthesiologists who are pediatric fellowship trained or highly skilled in complex pediatric care, with strong proficiency and confidence in managing neonates to join our anesthesiology care team at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Nearly half of the surgical volume at St. Mary’s Medical Center involves pediatric cases: level III NICU, pediatric ICU, and 24-hour children’s hospital; the facility houses the Paley Institute, a world-renowned medical center for complex bone, joint, and spine conditions. The orthopedic center has a team of elite surgeons who are known for its cutting-edge limb lengthening and deformity correction treatments. It has a global reputation, attracting patients from around the world.
 
Opportunity Overview

• Newly increased compensation, with an estimated total compensation of $616,667 annually
• $125,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation incentive
• 9 weeks of PTO, 10 weeks after 2 years
• Day shift position
• At-home overnight backup pager coverage with rotating weekend day shifts shared among 6 physicians
• Post-call day off, Post weekend day off

A 464-bed facility, St. Mary's Medical Center features a Level I trauma center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, maternity services and more.
