HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking ABEM board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians to join a well-established EM program serving both a main hospital emergency department and multiple affiliated freestanding EDs in the Pensacola, Florida, area.
Physicians will be expected to participate in teaching, with additional compensation provided. Medical students rotate through the department from Florida State University.

HCA Florida West Hospital is the first hospital in the area to offer all private rooms. This 306-bed facility also has a separate pediatric emergency department that is solely dedicated to treating the emergency healthcare of infants, children and adolescents. The adult ED has specially trained staff includes specialty trained emergency medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, technicians and health unit coordinators. In addition, West Florida Hospital also offers senior emergency services for geriatric patients and their families.
