Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our day shift hospitalist team at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina! Responsibilities for this position will primarily be covering rounding. This position offers a flexible 7a-7p shift working a block 7-on/7-off schedule rotation.

• 288-bed facility
• Closed ICU; TeamHealth runs the ICU team separately
• EMR: Cerner

Opportunity Overview

• No solo APC coverage required
• Full-time days: 7a-7p
• Primary responsibilities: rounder
• NP/PA will round and discharge on their own
• Hospitalist physician must co-sign all APC admit orders
• ED handles codes
• Expect to see a mix of high and low acuity patients
