Join a collaborative, high-performing team at one of Birmingham’s leading hospitals. TeamHealth is seeking a nocturnist critical care advanced practice clinician to join our team at Baptist Health – Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Facility Details

• Beds: 595-bed acute care facility
• Multiple ICU-level units supporting medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurologic patients, with flexible critical care capacity based on staffing and patient acuity
• Primary Stroke Center Certified
• EPIC EMR for efficient documentation

Position Overview

• Flexible block schedule model
• Full-time night shift: 6p-6a
• Competitive compensation package 
• Critical care background is required
• Procedure experience highly preferred; no intubations or chest tubes required
• Typical responsibilities: acute issues, admissions, consults, and emergency procedures (central and arterial lines); anesthesia team in-house for intubations
• 20-25 patients per day average
• Solo clinician coverage required on nights; ICU physician on call for back-up as needed
