Responsibilities:

• Provide primary medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
• Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and therapies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patient encounters

• Experience as a primary care physician
• Knowledgeable in medical standards and best practices for rehabilitative primary care within skilled nursing and assisted living communities
• Experience in administrative responsibilities and implementing facility goals
• Experience in an interdisciplinary medical team environment
• Strong research skills to stay updated on the latest medical advancements and treatment options in geriatric care
• Proficient mentoring and leadership abilities
• Familiar with electronic medical records systems and medical management software
