We are seeking a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our team in the emergency department (ED) at Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.
No experience in emergency medicine (EM)? No problem! TeamHealth is willing to train new graduates for the position and you are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an emergency department or urgent care setting is a plus. APC candidates will be required to have current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications. Ashtabula County Medical Center features a 34,000 volume emergency department. There are currently 2 shifts per day- 11:00am-11:00pm and 9:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must be available for all shifts including 2 full weekends a month.
