No experience in emergency medicine (EM)? No problem! TeamHealth is willing to train new graduates for the position and you are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an emergency department or urgent care setting is a plus. APC candidates will be required to have current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications. Sisters of Charity Hospital features a 41,000 volume emergency department. These are currently 10-hour shifts throughout the day (APC coverage is provided in the facility from 8:00am until 6:00pm and 5:00pm until 3:00am). You must be available for all shifts, to include weekends.
