Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical care to patients with non-life-threatening injuries or illness
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physicals, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, lab tests, and ECGs
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices
- Board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, or a related field
- Previous experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
