Further your career as a nurse practitioner (NP) physiatrist working with TeamHealth's post-acute care team in the Bronx, New York, area. We have facilities in all five boroughs. Physiatrists see a mix of acute and post-acute patients in skilled-nursing facilities. Our strong team has been together for over 10 years! Duties include:

Evaluation of functional decline
Prescribe the appropriate therapies
Evaluation of the causes of neuropathic and arthritic pain - treated with oral and topical meds and joint and trigger point injections
Contracture management
Prosthetic and orthotics; working with the CPO with new amputees and stroke patients
Not exclusively procedural based care
Consultant work at a skilled nursing facility closely with rehab director and PCP
