Are you a physician who excels in quality patient care and is passionate about pediatric emergency medicine (EM-PEDS)? You will make the perfect addition, as a per diem (PRN) physician, to our team!
Chilton Medical Center pediatric emergency medicine physicians have the privilege of caring for 13,000 pediatric patients per year, and the pediatric emergency department is isolated from the adult treatment areas, with separate staff and pediatric hospital medicine program. Our physicians work 12-hour shift times from 8a-8p and 8p-8a, and common ED presentations are abdominal pain, fractures, suturing, pneumonia, colds, and psych. Chilton Medical Center is connected to all the resources and advanced care, including access to more than 100 pediatric specialists, at Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center.
If you are ABP, AOBP, PEM board certified, or within 5 years of residency with active New Jersey license/CDS and New Jersey DEA, ATLS, and PALS, we are happy to assist with coordinating interviews and the TeamHealth hiring process.

Small town atmosphere
Pompton Plains is in Morris County, in the New York metro area. The township is primarily a residential area that encompasses two communities, Pequannock and Pompton Plains. Recorded history of the township dates to 1695 when the area was originally settled. Pequannock was incorporated in 1740, making it older than our nation itself. Community growth was greatest in the 1950s during which time the population more than doubled. During the early 1990s, a planned residential development known as The Glens was constructed, adding 583 homes.
