Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in San Jose, California

TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in our newest inpatient behavioral health practice, Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California. This is full-time position for a PMHNP able to work independently and give high quality, compassionate care to patients. You will be primarily responsible for the PHP and IOP but will also be working with the facility medical director on treatment of psychiatric inpatients and consultations on medical patients in the emergency department (ED) and on the medical/surgery units. The consultation service will also have a half time neuropsychologist. You will be able to follow a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, with set hours and no restriction on a private practice after hours. We are seeking candidates who are skilled clinicians in a hospital based setting, and we would love to explore this opportunity with you.
