TeamHealth is seeking a seasoned emergency medicine clinician to join our team at St. Vincent's Medical Center East in Birmingham, Alabama. Clinicians must be board eligible/board certified ABEM or AOBEM.
The emergency department at St. Vincent's East sees an annual volume of 54,000. There are 41.5 hours of physician coverage daily (one 8-hour shift and three 10-hour shifts), and there are 30 hours of advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage daily. The emergency department features 31 beds and the EMR is Cerner. Adult trauma goes to University of Alabama, and pediatric trauma goes to Children's Hospital. There is a 20% admission rate.
