TeamHealth is seeking an emergency medicine advanced practice clinician to join the team at South County Hospital Healthcare System in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Candidates must have previous emergency medicine experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an emergency department (new graduates or candidates with less than 3 years of emergency medicine experience will not be considered for the position). Current ACLS and PALS certifications are required. Previous certification or current certification in ATLS is a plus but not required.
This facility's emergency department sees an annual volume of 22,000. Clinicians currently work 12-hour shifts (9am-9pm/12pm-12am). Candidates must be available for all shifts including 2 full weekends per month. This is a full-time opportunity.
