TeamHealth has an excellent lead advanced practice clinician (APC) position available for an experienced clinician in the emergency department (ED). Experience working in an emergency department is required.
Previous leadership/management experience a plus.
The lead APC will be responsible for interviewing/assist with hiring interested APC candidates for the department, scheduling and training of all APCs for two emergency departments (Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center). Current ACLS and PALS certifications are required. Previous certification or current certification in ATLS is a plus but not required. Clinicians are currently working various 10 hour shifts to include night shifts. Candidates must be available for all shifts, to include 2 full weekends a month.

Mohawk Valley Health System Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare is a 379-bed hospital with a 29-bed emergency department (ED). This facility has an annual volume of 41,300 and a designated Stroke Center with CT scanner. We have a dedicated staff of emergency medicine physicians, nurses, excellent EMS, lab technicians and EKG technicians. The ED provides 36 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily.
Our facility consists of a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accredited Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) Accredited Comprehensive Center, labor and delivery with a Level II nursery and maternal child services, oncology inpatient unit, surgical and ambulatory services, total joint orthopedic program, rehabilitation and nursing center and senior network health. Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare is part of a two-hospital system which includes St. Elizabeth Medical Center -Level III adult trauma center and cardiac center with 72,000 combined visits per year.
