TeamHealth is hiring experienced physicians, new graduates, and visa sponsorship physicians with a passion for working with emergency medicine residents, and expanding access healthcare. This position offers independent contractor status, excellent compensation, exceptional dedicated nocturnist rate, and with full-time commitment relocation assistance, residency stipend for residents in training, and outstanding sign-on bonus. Physicians unable to relocate receive travel reimbursement and work 2-3 blocked shifts per month. J1 waiver/H1B status candidates receive employee status, all costs associated sponsorship, and with commitment full-time status receive benefits, 401k, retirement plan and potential retention bonus. ABEM AOBEM board certified or board eligible within 5 years of residency, ATLS, ACLS, PALS, stroke certification required.

A new integrated health campus
Mohawk Valley Health System Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare is a 379-bed hospital with a 29-bed emergency department (ED). This facility has an annual volume of 41,300 and a designated Stroke Center with CT scanner. We have a dedicated staff of emergency medicine physicians, nurses, excellent EMS, lab technicians and EKG technicians. The emergency department (ED) provides 36 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily.
