TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a physician assistant to join our ED team part-time at Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, Nevada. This 8-bed ED has a volume of 16,000 patients per year and offers two 12-hour physician shifts and 12 hours daily of advanced practice clinician coverage.
The facility has an admit rate of 11% and a transfer rate of 6%. There is backup for surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiology, and ENT. The EMS services are hospital based and the ED utilizes Cerner/First Net EMR.
We ask that you have 2 years emergency medicine experience as an advanced practice clinician as well as ACLS and PALS certifications.
