TeamHealth is looking for an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our established hospitalist program at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, as a nocturnist. This clinician will work a seven-on, seven-off, block schedule from 11pm to 7am.
Responsibilities include admitting patients from the emergency room and accepting transfers from the free standing emergency rooms and other hospitals. This position will also cross cover floor calls, performing consults on the medical floors.
A minimum of one year of nurse practitioner or physician assistant level hospitalist experience is required for this position. Outpatient and urgent care experience do not qualify. Inpatient rotations during training do not qualify. Benefits for this position include an employed model with health benefits and paid malpractice insurance including tail coverage.
