Patients that come to the 20-bed ED are assessed and, depending on the severity of the condition, are treated on-site or transferred to the Level I Trauma Center and hospital at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy.

There is 24 hours of physician coverage (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and 12 hours of APC coverage (11 a.m. to 11 p.m.).
