The Northeast Group’s Performance Innovation Consultants (PIC) team strategically selected 40 facilities for APEX implementation to strengthen patient experience scores, engaging them in monthly targeted interventions from December 2024 to June 2025. Built on four pillars — team, education, coaching, and data — APEX drives clinician engagement, transparency, and accountability, with a virtual kickoff ensuring broad participation and flexibility to meet each facility’s needs. While the events preserved the program’s traditional hallmarks, a new virtual approach enabled broad implementation without sacrificing a hands-on focus on improving patient experience.
