This year marks the 40th anniversary of TeamHealth.
We are excited to celebrate this milestone by honoring the past and looking enthusiastically to the future.
Our founders began the company with the visionary yet pragmatic insight that the practice of medicine was increasingly complex and pooled their talents, harvesting the best practices from their clinical practices and leveraging resources, to create TeamHealth. Decades later, their foresight has produced remarkable results.
In the past 40 years, we have:
- delivered safe, high-quality care to countless patients and families across the nation;
- achieved meaningful growth, from a handful of clinicians to more than 16,000; and
- fostered innovative thinking that has enabled us to solve complex problems with extraordinary solutions.
As we look to the next 40 years, we will continue to face challenges. We will have unique opportunities to come together in extraordinary circumstances. In the face of natural disasters, emergency situations and general uncertainty about healthcare, we will continue our mission and deliver on our promises by working together toward our common goal.
