Great opportunity for a medical director to lead a 17,000-volume emergency department. This opportunity offers a high hourly rate plus monthly administrative stipend and excellent leadership support. Nurse practitioner coverage is available three days a week. Physicians work 12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and 13-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday. There is a fair amount of pediatrics, and acuity level is moderate. Requirements include board certification in emergency medicine or primary care with emergency medicine experience.
