The Community
Tazewell, Tennessee, is about 40 miles north of Knoxville and offers many attractions and activities, including the Tazewell Speedway and the Lincoln Museum, which houses one of the largest and most complete collections of Abraham Lincoln and Civil War artifacts and memorabilia in the country. Nearby, in the heart of the Cumberland Gap National Park is the 1904 Hensley Settlement, consisting of restored homes, barns, and the schoolhouse. Forests and streams surround hiking and horseback riding trails leading to the settlement.
