Join our team at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. This 35-bed acute care hospital in beautiful northwest Georgia has an annual ED patient volume of more than 17,000. With mid-level providers working four days per week beginning September 2009, the physician volume for this ED will be 1.5 patients per hour. A lower patient volume has been proven to decrease burnout, reduce stress, and increase job satisfaction. Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is a proud member of Piedmont Healthcare. This position requires ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications and board certification, eligibility, or preparation in emergency medicine or family medicine plus two years of prior ED experience.
