| Description |
We are seeking an emergency physician to work full-time in the 25,400-volume emergency department at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, Mississippi. This position is scheduled in 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm. Nurse practitioner coverage is provided daily from 11 am to 11 pm. The 17-bed emergency department has a 9 percent admission rate. Candidates must be board certified or prepared in emergency medicine or board certified or eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience. The position offers competitive compensation, paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage, free online CME, and independent contractor status.
