We are searching for a staff physician to join the emergency department team full-time at Emerald – Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, Tennessee. This is a sister hospital to Southern Tennessee Medical Center. Emerald – Hodgson is in Sewanee, a beautiful and classic college town that is home to one of the leading liberal arts colleges in America. The ED sees more than 5,000 patients a year and is equipped with MRI, CT, PET, CT, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and X-ray. Its sister hospital, Southern Tennessee Medical Center, is a 152-bed hospital with a 10-bed ICU and a 15,000-volume ED.
