We are searching for a physician to join our team at the 21,500-volume emergency department of Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina. Qualifications include board certification in emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine with 5 years of ED experience. Haywood Regional Medical Center’s medical staff represents 26 specialties with more than 130 physicians, some of which are third and fourth generation doctors. The medical technology and equipment is exceptional. The hospital has the most advanced 64-slice CT system with coronary scanning capabilities, and it has two MRI systems and imaging services. Its advanced pilot program for Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) received national recognition, and the radiology department serves as a clinical teaching site.
