Description This is an excellent leadership opportunity to direct a 50,000-volume emergency department at a comprehensive healthcare institution with two radiology suites, a CT scanner, an in-house 24/7 hospital medicine program, and an excellent nursing staff. The ED provides 40 hours a day of physician coverage and 52 hours a day of mid-level provider coverage. A wide range of medical services include a fast track for minor illnesses or injuries and programs for seriously ill or injured patients, such as advanced and basic life support, cardiac monitoring, and an early chest pain evaluation program to quickly and efficiently identify and treat patients at risk for heart attack. This health center hosts several centers of excellence and has earned national recognition for nursing excellence as a Magnet hospital. Many of its physicians have been voted the Best Doctors in America by Best Doctors, Inc. A major renovation project has been announced and will bring more than $100 million in improvements to this hospital.
